i have 124 gr plated RN ( rainier type--load like lead formula)
help with LOA data and any favorite recipes. i have tite- group/bullseye/unique& power pistol to load with. thank you.

I also reload this caliber. I use 5.8 gr Red Dot, behind a 124 Ranier plated bullet. Good accurate load with no fouling. Try it, you'll like it.

Caution!

Loading a round nosed 9mm bullet in 357 sig is asking for trouble. The long ogive of most 9mm bullets doe not offer that short neck of the 357 sig anything to crimp onto. That will allow the bullet to be driven deeper into the case, raising pressure.

Use a bullet make specifically for the 357 sig. It will usually be a truncated cone bullet.

Those are two that have worked well for me in 357 sig. They have a longer bearing surface to allow a good crimp into the SIDE of the bullet.

I load the Berry's 124 grain flat point bullet in the 357 Sig, over Accurate Arms #9 powder. It's exceedingly accurate.

Stay away from NATO profile bullets in this caliber, as it will only lead to grief. The ogive is way too long to allow the neck to grip the bullet and will result in serious bullet setback. This will increase pressures in an already high pressure round.

Hope this helps.

thank you all--good info to start projecting with.
no powder yet, but have run some of the RN's with a crimp adjusted to 'pull' the same as a 40 SW ie: 3 solid wacks with the initial hammer to unseat a round.
