I can't force myself to buy trail boss.
It's one of those things that wouldn't be here if they had kept something that was working perfectly well and was cheaper.

I guess you can say that about most of the products we buy today. I'm sure they would like to do away with aspirin and replace it with another pill that cost $10 each.
I also use W231/Hp-38 and Unique for -1100 FPS loads with said bullets.

I like 700x, green dot, universal, and bluedot.
I haven't tried W231 because a pound of powder lasts me a year or 2 and I used to shoot shotguns a lot and was left with the remainder of powder.

Sr4759 was a good reduced load powder. It wasn't a direct match, but it worked very well.
