Is $19.99 for a 20 pack of .380 hollow points too much?

I cant find any target loads, I am guessing they are less expensive?

I use 95 grain cast bullets and 4.2 grains of Unique. (this is right at the top bleeding edge of normal SAAMI pressure, not +P) Pretty cheap, *if* you can find brass. I'm working on a load using 102 grain Golden Saber bullets, but I'm not there yet. I also don't have much brass so I really hang on to the couple hundred pieces I do have.

Can you ship ammo in a USPS flat rate box or does it have to go through an FFL?

I've never done it before!?

Neither. You can't ship ammo (or primers or powder) USPS at all. You can ship it UPS or FedEx; you'll have to put an "ORM-D" label on the package and might have to pay a *little* extra (but not $22.50 for "hazmat" shipping)

You can mail bullets, or empty brass. I think the empty brass can even be primed, but not sure. You can ship primed brass via UPS or FedEx without any restrictions.

I'm a big fan of the RBCD .380 load. I carry it in my Kel-Tec. It's a super-light total fragmenting soft point. The velocity is through the roof, but the lighter round still gets a pretty good punch in there. The felt recoil isn't as bad as some FMJ loads I've used.

My place of work has about 9 boxes of .380 SD hollow-point loads; 20 round box for 19.99.

I would say that I would buy them and ship them for price paid+shipping, just to help people out, but the ORM-D seems more like a hassle.

We've had them for weeks and I just noticed them behind some .22LR boxes.

Regarding RBCD's low penetration,
If they didn't go down the glaser-like "Nonricochetting" path on their bullet construction, using a combination of loose pellets, thin jackets and exposed tips, it would probably have decent penetration. I would like to see what penetration would be like if they borrowed from hunting bullet construction techniques, like partition and bonded methods, or just plain TMJs.

Atleast you found some, it depends of what you are looking at as far as brand a load goes but $20 for 20 should be a fair price.
