Kits don't seem too bad. After buying the bcg and lower you could have a 308 AR for 700 bucks or so. Have you shot one of these?

I thought there was no milspec ar10. Is that a dpms or an armalite pattern upper? (Those are the 2 patterns right? I'm not an ar10 expert)

308 AR better buy upper and lower from the same manufacturer, what lower it fits? PSA has $399 complete assembled 308 AR free float upper now.
