Alright what can you guys tell me about them and none of this .. its no AR platform, or its plastic garbage opinions , I just picked a new one up for 140$ and was wondering on the quality and reliability of this firearm also interested in what kinda accuracy you guys have got out of them.

I've had my .40 carbine for 6 years now and haven't had any problems out of it. Accuracy is good. I put a cheap reflex sight on mine and shoot bowling pins at 75 yards with no problem.

ive owned 3 of the pistols with never a problem. everyone i know that actually owns one loves them.

I have a 9mm carbine. I have had it for 10 years. Never any problems. Love it and want another in .40 and .45. I did not like the pistol however.

A friend has a 9mm hi-point carbine. And he said it is nothing but accurate. Everything he aimed at he shot, from the valve off an old BBQ propane bottle at 75 yards to little orange stick-on 1.5"-diameter targets at the same distance. He claims the only limiting factor is his iron sights; he wants to get a scope for it.

I think you will not be disappointed. AFAIK they go for at least $200, so you got a great deal.

Mine had loose sights as did my 4595, but once that was set and tightened they are great shooters. Still pistol caliber carbines, but great at what they do.

pistol caliber carbines == cheap ammo

I was also told some indoor gun ranges use that (pistol vs rifle caliber) criteria to determine if you can shoot it there or not.

These groups are before sighting in in my 995 in an ati stock with Primary arms red dot a using ... wolf. The used price (came with missing screws and no front sight) was too good to pass up. I'm confident its capable of a little better groups at such distances, but that's not what these little guns are for.

Too bad for the single stack mag design, and that diss-assembly makes you loose your zero typically. Its a fun toy and I plan to keep mine.
