Just picked up a new hi point carbine in 9mm. It's ugly as sin but for the price I had to. Havnt got a chance to shoot it yet, can anyone out there tell me what to expect? I know it's no AR I don't expect it to be for a $200 carbine. I simply got it out of curiousity and as a plinker truck gun.

I have one, and you can get a nice stock for it on Ebay for about 45.00

I like mine. Cheap ammo, fun to shoot, but the only complaint I have with mine is that it tends to rise up when I shoot, so rapid firing is a little hard.

Shoots really well, and accurate.

Enjoy it. There is a certain beauty to the simplicity and "ugliness" of the rifle. From the cheap looking stock to the powdercoated barrel to the crude looking action. All said though, its a great plinker, very accurate and cheap to feed.

I sold my 995 2 years back to finance an AR lower but another one is in my future.

Do the 995 magazines fit the 995ts? I'm thinking about ordering a couple frem cheaper than dirt but they don't specify what model the just say hi point 9mm carbine.

Good choice

I have the 4095 which is the 40 cal carbine. The clip is interchangeable with the pistol.my friend has the 9mm and the carbine clip fits in the pistol but extends out and inhibits the grip.40 fits well(10 round). You will be amazed and thrilled with your choice!
