410/15LC

Thinking about getting an NEF survivor, in 308 with the bull barrel. Well, they also offer 'em in .223 (could be fun) and 410/45 long colt.

Does anybody actually own a .410/.45LC rifle? Does 45LC get reasonable (read: humane kill) velocities out of a rifle barrel?

The 45LC is fired in a 410 chamber. Verrrryyy long freebore. Like drawing to an inside straight at a 7 hand poker table. May or may not be. Most likely not and the NEF is on a shotgun frame as purchased complete. Hand loading won't do much. The 45colt factory round will kill deer at bow ranges 35-50yd.
