410 to 22 adapter sleeves

My son has a super comanche 410/45 colt pistol. He is looking to get one of the adapter sleeves (http://www.gunadapters.com/410-to-22-lr-for-3-inch-chamber/) like this one.

Anyone have any experience with them? For $25 and free shipping, seems you can't go wrong.

You noted that these are unrifled smooth bore. I'm skeptical for them having any real accuracy or not keyholing beyond 15 feet or so. I've seen a teen who posts a lot on Youtube test a short 3in long 22LR smoothbore adapter in a Rem 870. He had 2 others also, one for 9mm, and one for 38/357. They fired, and a splash occurred in the swamp. No more rigorous testing than that. I'd be more interested in this company's "extended and rifled" adapters. They cost $100 and seem to be only for longer barreled weapons so you'd be out of luck with 410/45 pistol.

These might be useful for an arm's length finisher by a trapper.
