I have today been looking at a variety of silly stuff and ran across "Shell Shrinkers", "Conversion Cartridges", and Shot gun Adapters in a host of caliber/ gauges.
One I found interesting was a .410 adapter for 9x19mm Para (Luger) (08), another for shooting .380 in a .410 and finally a .22 in a .410.
Anyone have experience with such creatures? Interested mosty in .410 but even 20 or 12 gauge experiences welcome.
Please not whether your experiences were with rifled or smooth bore adapters.
On a related note.......if one had a Damascus barreled 12 gauge, would it be safe to shoot a 20 gauge or .410 in such an adaptor in the interest of keeping pressure down safely?
I have used a .22LR in a .223 rifle unit and it was not as accurate as most .22 rifles, but as accurate as some. Also used a .32 ACP in a .308 Winchester and found it better than throwing rocks or my skill with a sling shot, but nothing to write home about call it 1.5 inch (Silver tips) to 2 1/4 inches (every FMJ tried )
Just interested in shotgun stuff at the moment.
Thanks.
