Does anyone use the Lee C429-240-SWC in thier 44 Rem mag.
Any input on other cast bullets would be welcome, I prefer a Lee two cavity mold.
Thanks all

I used it for a while. Worked OK. I got a couple of Lyman molds in a trade and that mold just sits in the back of the drawer now.

I also got the TL mold and have not been able to get that bullet to shoot worth a flip in 44 Mag or 44 special. Disappointing since the TL 357/38 bullet shoots well in three pistols and a rifle.

I use the Lee TL-429-240-SWC tumble lube bullet from a six-cavity mold. I load it with 8-grains of PROMO powder to about 1000 fps using 12 BHN lead and ALOX. I roll crimp in the topmost lube groove. Shoots nice in my Ruger SRH. The tumble-lube design I would not push to high speeds, but for plinking with the heavy SRH hand-cannon it's almost like shooting a light 38 special.

I use it with a two cavity mold. Titegroup has given me great results. I try to keep the load light though to around 900 fps or so. Recoil is laughable when compared to full powered factory loads. Accuracy is great.
