I have a friend that is looking to use his .45 acp Mech-Tech carbine adapter for his glock on deer this year. The thing will put them into a bulls-eye at 75y all day long. What do you guys think on this? Should I suggest something with a little more punch or will this setup work for him? As I see it, the .45 acp has the punch, at least it's real close to it at 100y. From a carbine, I would suspect that it has just a little bit more and that it should be enough. It's either that or the 300 wby, and he is only shooting 75 yards or so.
