I had a few of these in my range grazing. Almost every single one of them buckled when the expander die got to them. Just to make sure the press and dies were not off, I mixed a few of them in a run of CCI cases on the progressive. Round after round, the CCI was perfect, and every time a nny case hit the expander, it would buckle. According to the headstamp search, the nny headstamp is rvi Partizan-Namenska Proizvodnja, Titovo, Uzice 31000, Yugoslavia. If you wind up with any of these, trash them, they are so thin and weak I am afraid to use them. Buddy of mine said these are sold under the Monarch brand name, but I cannot confirm that.

good to know.

all the brass i pick up seems to work very well in all my dies. if i see any of those i will leave them where they lay. if they are that flimsy i would imagine the rim is probably inferior as well, and that spells stuck case.

thx for the heads up.

So it appears it may be the same for all nny brass eh? I've got a TON of .40 nny brass. So sad...
