I was wondering if it was possible and safe to fire .45 acp cartridges in a revolver chambered for .45 colt or .454 casull. I remember hearing somewhere that the .45 acp uses bullets of the same diameter as the revolver cartridges.
I've heard tell of that, but all the lc/acp convertibles I've ever seen are Blackhawks. Going adjustable sight like the Blackhawk might be a good idea since POI may vary a bit depending on the cartridge. It will vary a lot if you load .45 colt hot and .45acp not.I think Ruger has a dual cylinder Vaquero too.
