With the help of Walkalong I finally got my loads to run. I still Have a few problems. The gun is a Wilson CQB 5" .45 ACP. The Load is:
.45 cal 200 gr Berry Hp
4.9 gr WST (a few with 4.7 gr WST)
WLP Primer
Mixed Cases
1.200 OAL
.469 Crimp
The problem is I get about 2-3 Failure to Feed? where the round is only going halfway into the chamber in the first ~185 rounds (on a fresh mag). Not too bad but not the best either. Then from that point on it's about evey other fresh mag has problems. As walkalong sugested I tried a few differant mags but so far every one works about the same (fine until the round count gets up there). I have tried 47D's, ETM's, standard 7 round kimber, and a 7 round kimber pro mag. I belive it is partially b/c the guns gets too dirty to function. wish i had more mags to try but.......
Any Sugestions? I think I'm also going to try a little less crimp b/c i think it slightly smushes the bullet. Don't think that going to fix anything though. The load is for my IDPA Comp and I generally don't shoot more than 120 in a session but still.
