At the risk of being Mr. Obvious, here’s a friendly reminder that 458 SOCOM is specced to use pistol primers, not rifle primers. It wouldn’t take much over pressure to crack the locking lugs on a SOCOM bolt and deformation of the thinner pistol primers are an important sign that pressure limits are being exceeded.

that’s why I like Bear Creek Arsenal, you can get a complete upper for $225 (on sale) with side charging BCG. Cheap enough to enjoy and not worry too much.
 
I can't answer any questions right not I just finished up the test rounds today.I know they look like small torpedos.I will get out in the spring with the rifle Nothern Ohio is not kind to us in the wintertime latter,Deputy Bruce
