I acquired some Extreme 45acp plated round nose bullets in 200gr. Looked at Hornady reloading manual, Speer handbook, Lyman Cast book, Lee Loading Handbook, The Alliant Website, and the Hodgdon website. Only found one load for 200gr RN bullets in 200gr weight for Sport Pistol in the Alliant site (200gr LRN). That was for 45acp +p load.

Anyone have a good resource that has data for 200gr RN plated bullets. TIA

Would like to use Power Pistol, but have W231, CFE Pistol, and Unique.

TIA

Just start at the high end of lead data or the low end of jacketed data for the same weight bullet and work up.

Ericuda,

Thx

Do you have a reference. I tried Unique with 230gr and 185gr bullets. Started at the midpoint up to max. It jammed at least once with all my magazines.

When I used power pistol on 230gr FMJ bullets, my firearm cycled smoothly.

I have test loads built up using sport pistol. But that has been the only powder I've seen for 200gr RN bullets.

TIA

I loaded the 200 grn swc lead (my favorite .45 acp bullet) with either 6.0 grns of Unique or 4.5 grns of Bullseye. Super accurate in my guns and pleasant to shoot.
