Looked on the net, can’t find an answer so I will try the Forum. 5.56 short story with a question. Friend Cris used my range to sight his new gun. Gave me 75 cases to reload. Cases are nickel from a source that I have never used. They’re Tulammo, and after cleaning I tried to re-size/de-prime. First round broke the pin of my Hornady die (which had included a new pin assembly in their set). Thinking I may have a problem with the die I disassembled, cleaned, and then ran a few of my brass cases through the die - no problem. Tried a different nickel case with a repeat performance- broke pin and a bent adjustment screw.
The question is has anyone had a similar problem? I suspect that the primer is the underlying problem and I am about ready to trash them if there isn’t a fix.
Anyone have an idea/comment on this problem?
Thanks
