I am going to purchase a quantity of ammo for my Stag Arms AR-15 and would like to make the right choice.

So far I have been using a friends stash which has mostly been Black Hills 55 Grain of some kind.

It would be used for varmint/predator hunting and fun at the range.

The Black Hills was very accurate out of my Stag Arms. Friend took me coyote hunting and I was able to get one at a little over 200 yards.

A local shop has Federal American Eagle black box 5.56x45mm XM193 55 Grain and Fiocchi 223 Remington 55 Grain on sale.

I think both are FMJ at 3240 fps.

Is one of these brands superior to the other?
More accurate?
Cleaner shooting?

Any experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

You need to try some of each before ya stock up. Buy what works
best and is the most accurate, rather than cost consideration. Some
times a less expensive will out perform the higher cost stuff
