I am going to purchase a quantity of ammo for my Stag Arms AR-15 and would like to make the right choice.
So far I have been using a friends stash which has mostly been Black Hills 55 Grain of some kind.
It would be used for varmint/predator hunting and fun at the range.
The Black Hills was very accurate out of my Stag Arms. Friend took me coyote hunting and I was able to get one at a little over 200 yards.
A local shop has Federal American Eagle black box 5.56x45mm XM193 55 Grain and Fiocchi 223 Remington 55 Grain on sale.
I think both are FMJ at 3240 fps.
Is one of these brands superior to the other?
More accurate?
Cleaner shooting?
Any experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
