5" N-Frames?

Hmmm... That looks like a ramp front sight, which would make your 625 a "-2" Model of 1988, and therefore not too all-fire common after all. :)
 
I have three five-inch S&W N Frames: two 627s and a wonderful, 30+ year old, P&R'ed 27-2. They are all outstanding revolvers, but the 27-2 is my "standard of comparison" for all handguns.

Lots of 5" M27's there, and they do look great, I may have to get my 8 3/8" gun cut down to that one of these days.

But here's a 5", short underlug 45 Colt N frame to drool over. :) Rescued from a pawn shop, but unfortunately not before some yahoo butchered the front sight with a file <sigh>
