"If a Kingdom is divided against itself it cannot stand" "If a house is divided against itself that house cannot stand."
Mark 3:24,25
Old words of wisdom that still apply today.

I have read rplies on threads on various gun boards that state how the writer will just give up his arms when they come to collect them. better that person should sell them now or turn them in to the nearest redemption center. How many people will really stand and deliver at their front doors when the "grabbers" drive up???

I will surely deliver every firearm I own to those who would come to unconsitutionially collect them from me.

Bullets first.

Ah, the cry of false bravado and the posturing of would be heroes about fights that have little likelihood of happening.

I just love to read comments like this. People are always claiming this stuff, but generally speaking have no testosterone to back their words. We all cry about the injustice of gun control laws, but we are a feeble and poorly organized lot when it comes to helping our fellow gun owners. Have y'all noticed the lack of support arriving when needed for situations like Ruby Ridge and Mt. Carmel?

Tim McVeigh went to Mt. Carmel, but he was far too spineless to help out the folks inside the compound. He was not willing to risk his neck for the cause. He did blow up a building a couple of years later, but once again, he wasn't willing to risk his own neck and made sure he was safely away when he killed all those people.

Of course the cry of bravado does shed bright light on one aspect. Folks like Evil5Liter don't care about the guns of other people, just their own guns. They are not volunteering to come and help others fight of "illegal seizures" from other people's homes. Nope, they apparently could not care about other gun owners. The only time they claim to be willing to fight is when people come their own home and collect their own guns.

Sadly, such posturing is reflected in our behaviors, voting, etc. We are not a unified front that is fighting for OUR rights. Nope, as seen here and especially by the thread starter, TooTaxed, we gun owners apparently only care about our own individual guns. TooTaxed doesn't own a .50 BMG and apparently doesn't want to own one, and so he thinks it is a waste to fight for citizen ownerships of .50 BMG guns. Thanks for nothing.

Man, go ahead and make Georgia your permanent home.

are there any sources that mcveigh went there? I learn something new everyday...

Double Naught Spy

Unless you're an Oracle, how would you possibly know what he does or does not do?

And again- how would you know? I think many boasts aren't true- but I surely wouldn't mock anyone who made one- because he might be telling the truth, and we need all the help we can get.

And it is just plain nuts to even discuss a madman like MCVeigh in a context like this.

You've assumed, insulted, brought in an analogy to a madman no one wants to hear, and your ego is overpowering whatever sense you have.

Get Ahold of Yourself!!! Evil5liter might be a better man than you. People who mock others on so little pretext are not trustworthy. If you are trustworthy- act like it.

Nice personal attack, I love that.

It's bickering like this that divides people, not unifies.

Where did I say I didn't support the right to own .50 cals?

Think about it for a second though. If the day ever comes that guns have been outlawed, then it surely must mean that the constitution has fallen and the state of the country is in total anarchy.

The very last thing I would be worried about would be the repercussions of shooting a government agent if this country went to ????.

So like I said. If anyone ever comes to unconstitutionally collect my guns, they will get them bullets first.

In California we have an AWB that makes the Federal one look like a silly joke. As most here know, Arnold just signed a law adding 50BMG rifles to the list of AWs.

When the PRK AWB was first put into place, shooters who owned their rifles before the ban were allowed to keep them *if* they registered them. Almost no one did.

As a practical matter, confiscation *must* be preceded by registration. If the call goes out to register our firearms, we each must be prepared to do what is right.
