If you live near a Dunham's they have their Sunday and Monday special going again. 91/30s are $59.99. They go up to $69.99 through Thursday. (Their ads expire on Thursday.) The also have hex receiver 91/30s for $89.99 all week.

All we have here is Big 5, which runs $89.99 specials. For sixty bucks and ninety bucks for a hex receiver I'd pick up one of each in a hurry.

...which brings up an interesting question. If the commies won, would they be getting old M1 Garands and M1 carbines on the cheap?

Anyway, this is a good deal. I got my M44 with a laminated stock, excellent condition for $91 at a gun show. Take advantage if you all can.

I just picked up a 91/30 from big 5 yesterday. $110 out the door. Izhevsk marks on the reciever and bolt. looks like it was probably counterbored. but that also means its real pretty on the inside. I cant think of anywhere cheaper in my area to get them, and i dont mind payin a lil more if that means i get to look it over 1st.
