Mines in the shop, so in the meantime, please show me some of your fine bolt action rifles! I'll certainly post pics of mine whenever it gets back.

And it's been long enough since we've had a good bolt picture thread. Feed the addiction.

HS Precision HTR, left handed, Jewell trigger, 338 LM with an S&B 5-25 on top. Lots of fun but buying brass and bullets kill me.

I need to take some better pics....haven't had her out lately though.

I can imagine buying brass and bullets hurts. But it has to be tons of fun. How much does it weigh?

I have that same stock on mine, but in OD with the webbing. Looks mean in black/white, I like it

very nice

How much does it weigh?

Dunno..never weighed it.

I'd guess 15-16 lbs. Heavy enough that recoil isn't bad if you hold onto it.

Cheapest brass I can find is once shot military for $1.85 per case. New Lapua is $2.25 per case (sold in 100 round boxes). Bullets run anywhere from .75 up to $1.30 per bullet.

Just to put it into perspective, a one lb bottle of propellant gets me 84 cartridges.

That stock pattern is their urban camo. I like it a lot too.

OK....I'm in. Got this 10 FCP earlier this year. Haven't had a lot of range time with it. Started working up some loads for it and have made two trips to the range with them so far. Found one combo that shows promise. I need to work on it and see how it pans out.

Here is my 10 FCP HS Precision with a Bushnell Elite 4200 FFP 6-24x50 mil-dot illuminated recticle w/ mil-turrets. I added the Karsten cheek piece and the Harris bipod.

100 yards, about a month ago.....gotta love a factory barrel when a dime covers 5 shots. ;) This was one of the hand loads I mentioned.

260AI, BigHorn Arms left-hand action, bartlein bbl, mcmillan A5 stock, surgeon bottom metal, Thunderbeast 30p-1 suppressor, x-treme trigger, S&B PMII 5-25x

(Actually, I shot that bbl out over the winter and put a new bartlein on it that is 28.5", two.five inches longer than pictured)

These are some nice sticks! Keem em coming!

I run a Remington 700 SPS-V in .308. Don't have any good pics right now tho.

I am normally not a fan of HS stocks, but yours is very nice...I like the pattern.

BTW, you can get once fired brass for $1.50...that's all that I paid for my Lapua brass.

Remington 700 action, 26" Shilen barrel in .308, Hogue DM stock glass bedded, Timney trigger, Surgeon bottom metal, Brownells picatinny rail mount, Nightforce steel rings, Leupold VX3 6.5-20x50mm LR scope and Harris Bi-pod.

Taliv, Is the illumination knob getting in the way of your bolt on that big horn action? I tried a 5-25 a couple years ago, and it wouldn't clear the only on my lefty stiller. Very nice lefty by the way.

pdd, it never even occurred to me that it might be close. i just went and checked. the illum knob is about 3/4" farther forward than my bolt knob travels. So no, it's not in the way. However, if i had the scope an inch farther back, i believe it would make contact.

OK, this is what I've been spending most of my rifle time with....

So is a 26in. Krieger...that's right, there's 26in. of Krieger goodness hidden in that crazy bullpup of mine (though it deviates slightly from the MTU contour trend).

:)

Here's my F-Class (F-TR) rifle ... not really a tactical rifle although I used it in a 2-day tactical course taught by Chuck Taylor and it performed very well. I bought an AI AW recently but don't have any photos of it ... just a video of a friend shooting it.

Best result with this rifle so far was a 149-4X at 300 yards (15 shots in 15 minutes) shot late last year. Our 2011 F-Class season starts this coming Saturday.

tonyangel, that barrel looks huge in the stock! very cool.

great pic taliv, we need some more 'out in the wilderness' photos

about nine more weeks and I'll have a picture to post

1858, that's an outstanding string of shots and a great looking rifle

I'm starting to feel out of place without an MTU profiled barrel...:uhoh:
