Hey everyone I am looking to reload 6mm Remington for this upcoming deer season I’d like
To use 100 grain bullets and my question is what powder/powders do you recommend I would appreciate it if
You could point me in a decent direction as far as a load goes

Thank you

I'm in the process of doing the same. Ran into accuracy problems which may have been more gun than load, so haven't settled on a load yet. Have two test ladders loaded and waiting to shoot.

The four most common powders used in 6mm Rem are IMR4350, H4350, IMR4831 and H4831sc.......commonly used and likely to be found.........meaning available. A good load can probably be made with any one of those. Most likely bullets are Hornady 100 grain Interlock......btsp or Nosler partition. I'm going for loads in the 3100 fps range, as that is close to factory velocity for that size bullet.

Do much searching and you will find numerous references to RL19 in 6mm Rem. While it may be good, I've had multiple opportunities to buy any of the 4 four powders listed above, and not once have I seen RL 19. As I understand it, RL19 is close to burn speed of the 4831's.

Reload 22 is my brother's powder if choice for it. I personally would use a more stabile one. But he worked up a load in the fall and only uses it during deer season.
It shoots great though.

My 243 win load uses IMR4831. 243 and 6mm are really close to identical, though loads dont necessarily cross over. Always use a published starting load for the correct cartridge.
