7625 Data for 9mm Luger?

Hi, Gents!

I'm getting ready to load some 9mm cast in 124 and 147, have a big load of 7625 I got for a song.... but can't find 9mm Luger x 7625 data for either cast weight.

Anybody got load data to share? Within spec pressures, that is?

.40 is next, haven't found much data for THAT in cast lead, either.

Hodgdon lists a max load for jacketed 124 of 4.9 grains and 147 jacketed of 4.3. You can reduce the loads 10-15% and work the load up.

Or, I would suggest contacting Hodgdon and ask them what their recommendation is, and if there is a concern connected using a reduced load for this powder.

I use SR 7625 for plated bullet loads in the 9mm, but I worked up my own data in military brass, which is heavier in construction than commercial. My loads aren't in most manuals and I don't post data on the internet. It's a good powder, but there are better ones. I use it because I was given 10 pounds of it and it serves my purposes until it's gone.

It's not cast data, but 90% loads should get you want you need, 85% for start charges.
