799 Remington shell plate wanted

I purchased a 799 in 22 Hornet, my handloads are too long for the clip. Is anyone aware of a shell plate for this rifle?

Switch bullets -- the 35 grain Hornady V-MAX shoots very well in the Hornet, and has a short ogive that allows you to load it out to nearly touch the rifling and still feed through the magazine.

What Vern said is true. We discussed the same for loads that would
feed in my mag fed Ruger 77/22 Hornet. Using the 35gr V Max and a
caseful of Lil Gun powder, changed a ho hum, into a sub MOA ten shot
grouper.
