Is it possible to make a 7mm rem mag AR off what would otherwise be an AR10 platform? Or does the AR10 lower use the same tiny magwell as the AR15 lowers?

edit: oh wait, they use the 300 short magnum in that role. So many magnums, so little storage space for all the ammo.

I think the .270 Winchester Short Magnum can or has been adapted to the AR system.
Getting the pressure curve within reason for the action would be the hardest part to making this work.

Any chambering based on the 308 would theoretically work - 7mm08, 260, 243, etc. The 7mmMag is too long for a 308-length action.

There's a company out there, though I can't remember their name, making semi-custom, modular (interchangable barrels/calibers, I think), long-action AR-15 type rifles (accurized) in .30-06, .300 Win Mag, and even .338. I'm sure they could do one up in 7mm Rem Mag, but you're looking at a couple thousand bucks for the rifle.
