I've heard lots of people here complain about the 870 Express finish rusting easily.
Has anyone else here stripped one down to parts cleaned and stripped the old oil off with break cleaner and heated it in an oven and the applied oil such as BreakFree CLP?
I just gave it a shot and it definatly made an immeadiate difference in color. I am hoping it holds its color and resists rusting a bit better this way.
