870 Police fore-end tube assembly same as standard?

Hi all,

I accidentally bent the action bars on the fore-end tube assembly while trying to take the fore-end off. This is on an 870 Police model (blued, not parkerized). I am looking to purchase a new blued fore-end tube assembly from Brownells. Does anyone know if the standard fore-end tube assembly is the same as the one that comes on the blued Police model? Or are there any differences? Can part number should I order? Thanks.

I would call Remington since they list a 'regular' and a "New Style" 12 gauge fore end tube. Have no idea what the difference could be. I know the Super Mag and the Marine models are different, but I have never seen a "new" style. Might be something in the last couple of years, who knows.
