9MM Ammo question

I recently ordered the following ammo from a website. The description was as follows:

Federal Classic
+P+ 9MM LUGER
115 GR HI-SHOK JHP
For Law Enforcement use only 9BPLE

The website showed a picture of a Federal Classic grey box with the label as described above and advertised "Public Welcome" .


I received a white box labeled:

Federal Ammunition
9MM LUGER +P+
Jacketed Hollow Point
9BPLE

Are these the same ammunition? Is one possibly bulk ammo verses retail?

The 9BPLE on both boxes suggests it is. A bit deceptive to show the commercial packaging when what they are selling is the bulk packaged ammo. But if the price was right I wouldn't sweat it unless for some reason you were in love with the box.

I wouldn't worry about it, you will not notice any difference when you shoot it.
