I have done some test on 9mm EFMJ, It has expanded or fragmented each and every time using diferent medias for tes like Pork shoulder, wet packs, a pack of ribbs with a pack of intestins and pork shoulder, I am wodering is there some body out there that has had the same results.

I now carry them in my P11 after buying 4 boxes from Midway a year or so ago. I fired 2 boxes (20 rndrs) for functioin and to check expansion (in wet dirt only) and the functioned fine and the ones I dug up penetrated 8-9" in the wet dirt (hard packed) and all were text book expansion with no fragmentation. These were the 105 gr. which were the only ones I could get. I wish I had some 125 gr+ to try.

9mm

yes they all expanded, 3 of them fragmented out of 5 boxes fired from my p11 also, With this round you dont have to worry what the BG is wearing since expantion is flowles. Finaly a round we can trust.!!!!!!

I disagree. I tested three rounds vs. water jugs and NONE of them showed any expansion. One of the rounds penetrated six jugs and hit a plywood backstop and still showed NO expansion. I can't explain it but I definitely won't carry it in my guns. I've read similar accounts from other people. Perhaps they have improved the design since last year.

Very inconsistent, very crappy. Also seems to be rehashed every single week. Do a search.

I would like to try some....Not available locally....Where are you getting it?

I got mine from www.ammoman.com. I got the 124 gr +P 9mm rounds -- not sure what he has in stock anymore.

I've fired several hundred rounds and never had a problem with feeding or expansion. I have some pictures of some of the rounds on my webpage, here: http://users.adelphia.net/~navy87guy/ballistics.html
