HK USP9, Sig p226 or Glock g17, which is the most accurate range gun and also the most fun to shoot. It will never be carried, just for the range and home duty. I would like the most accurate gun as I love going to the range. What do you guys think?

Tied for first Sig and H&K, GLOCK second IMHO.

HOWEVER. . . given that there is no garuntee that you will end up with an individual specimen on the upper end of the standard distribution of accuracy for a particular brand, I say get what you like the best and learn to shoot it well. They are all fine choices for what you want.

+1 Shake, depending on what feels best to you. IME, Glocks don't run in the same league as H&K or SIG as far as out of the box accuracy goes. Otherwise, all are tough, reliable handguns.

I bought them all, including Beretta 92FS. You should get all of them. I think the USP9 and the Beretta 92FS are the easiest to shoot for accuracy.

I guess I had better get rid of my wife's Glock 34. It only groups about 1" @ 25 yds with the right loads. A G17 is far more accurate than you are capable of shooting.
A better choice for just range shooting would be a Kimber 1911 in 9mm. I have shot several and all were very accurate. A properly tuned 1911 trigger cannot be matched by Sig, HK or Glock.

USP9, Glock 17, P226, and throw in the Beretta 92FS as mentioned. All are top quality 9's and can be as accurate as the person pulling the trigger can be. Got with what feels best. For me, the ergonomics of the 92FS are perfect.

If you like them all, you'll end up getting more than one of them over time anyway!

Of the 9mm's I own my S&W 952-2 is the most accurate and easiest to shoot well by a noticable margin, it's pricy but if you want good range pistol in 9mm it's among the best.

As for the ones on your list they are all very good shooters and are so close in capabilities it would more come down to which one you like the most in general, fits your hand and you personally shoot the best.

a list of 9mm's I own

1. Beretta 92FS Centurion
2. Beretta 92FS
3. Beretta 8000F Cougar INOX
4. Browning Hi-power Silver Chrome
5. CZ 75B
6. Glock G17L
7. HK P9S
8. HK P7M8
9. HK USP9
10. Sig P226
11. Sig P228
12. Sig P239
13. S&W Performance Center 952-2
14. S&W 3906
15. Walther P38

Everyone of us will tell you something different. We all have our favorites.
I would not limit myself to your list . Once you have decided on the caliber , I would suggest you you shoot several before deciding.
You may want to include the Springfield in your list.

Another endorsement for what Joe D said.

Take a look a the Sig P226 in stainless. A nice heavy frame and they're only about $75 more than the standard model.
I have a Glock 17L (6") and a USP 9mm full size.
I actually shoot the USP at least as well as the 17L. Pretty decent trigger and the lightest recoil with the exellent dual recoil springs.
