CZ-75B

It was my first handgun more than 10 years ago and I still have it. I don't know how many thousands of rounds are through it now but it shoots great and I've never had one problem with it. Old reliable. I love the 22LR 'Kadet' slide I got for it too.

I like it so much, I recently got one in .40 as well.

That's the 5906 I mentioned in post #8. A great 9mm, though I only paid $350 in 1991 ;)

Nice. Lots of variety in the 3rd Gen line. I don't have one, but like them. Guess it would just totally be an "extra" gun for me that I don't need, but think they are definitely a good value.

For NIB and best overall "value" the Sig 2002 or any of the Turkish Canik 55 pistols.

For a little more $$$ spent...then the CZ or a Beretta 92.

Another plug for S&W M&P here. Great ergos, very reliable, and you can get a thumb safety if you like that. CZ's are awesome, but will be at the very top of that range, or even just over it, in my neck of the woods.

I am very happy with a CZ 75B in 9mm I got for a bit over $500
a couple of years ago. Very reliable, accurate & fits my hand
well. Easy to field strip and clean as well
