Just got around to loading up some Bayou Bullets I recently got. One of my guns, a Kel Tec PF9, has a real short 'throat'. My first couple of reload efforts couldn't made any longer than about 1.100" although most of the info I'd been reading wanted OALs of around 1.125" or so. The 125gr Bayou Bullets had no problem being at 1.125", could even make 'em a bit longer if I wanted. I also just loaded up some Precision Delta 124gr JHPs, the length on those couldn't be any more than 1.100". No biggie, just had to adjust the powder a bit.

Sounds like your doing alright. Just use caution when seating deeper in 9mm. And 9mm being the high pressure cartridge it is, makes it fairly pressure sensitive to OAL.

You didn't include any other details, what powder and charge weight.

Sorry about that, my first effort used 115gr LRN seated at 1.095", 5.1gr Power Pistol. I've shot a couple hundred with no problems, all went bang and the guns still work. This time using the 124gr Bayou Bullets, I've loaded them @ 1.125" OAL on top of 5.1gr Power Pistol. I believe I can boost that up a bit, (I just ordered an F1 Chrony), once I get the chronograph I'll get a better idea of just how far I can go. The Precision Delta JHPs are loaded on top of the same 5.1gr of PP @ 1.095". These have room to 'grow' also.
