9mm under $400

Walther PPS, in my opinion, is tops in the sub-$400 range. A year ago, they were $500-$600 all day long. They dropped price this past summer.

Grand Power K100, made in Slovakia. My new favorite polymer, accurate and soft recoil due to the rotating barrel. IMHO a much better gun than the other main rotating barrel design, the PX4 Storm.

Wonderful trigger, and the reset is as good as my Sig Short Reset Trigger.

Under $400...Shield if you can find em on sale...oh and my personal favorite (on sale) Walther PPS ...the Original is usually under 4 is.

My 2 9mm carry guns under 400

Kahr CW-9 around $350 my area and a KelTec CW-9 approx. $250 I have over 800 rounds with out one hick up . Has become a pocket 9mm .

Kahr has also been trouble free .

Hey guys. So I went to my LGS a few days back, looking at their inventory. I was hoping to find a Ruger SR9E or perhaps a S&W SD9VE... They had neither, and I wound up leaving with a new Glock 19 for $455 OTD. I really don't want the Glock though, and I'll probably wind up selling it in the future.

Having shot all three extensively, I think you are best off with the Glock 19. And $455 was a great price for a new one. I wouldn't look back if I were you.

I'd take the Glock for a test drive before I did anything.

I can't think what would sour me so bad on a gun I just bought a few days ago and haven't even shot yet.

Do you not have any issue with the Glock other than you wish it was cheaper?

Maybe try and find a Sig P6! I saw one with fresh night sights and numerous magazines with low milage go for a hair over 400 not too terribly long ago. I don't think I've seen it mentioned in this thread yet.

At this point I would shoot the Glock and see how it feels. To me a clean fired Glock is the same as an unfired Glock when it comes to used value.

I would second the XD essentials. After ordering one online my local ffl told me be could have matched the price. $399

Having shot the sw9ve back to back with the Glock I would go Glock all day long.
