9mm . . . what are my choices

For what it's worth, here's where I eventually landed on both 9mm's after trying a few of both sizes, and I LOVE them both:

Pocket: Kahr PM9
Full Sized: S&W M&P9

Sorry... I just saw that you requested all metal. I did own an MK9 before my PM9, and the only reason I switched was that the MK9 was pretty heavy for pocket carry - the MK9 is all metal perfection in a small metal pistol.

As for full sized, I traded an all metal Stoeger Cougar 8000; great gun, but after getting hooked on the predictable Kahr trigger, I wanted something that wouldn't change from DA to SA. Nothing wrong with the proven reliable polymer 9mm's IMO, but it's a personal choice.

My recommendations would be the HK P30 or HK P7 for your full size gun and the Rohrbaugh R9 for the BUG.

The P7s are still readily available out there - you just have to look. (I have 7) Phenomenal gun!
If you TRULY want a pocket 9mm, I think the Rohrbaugh is your only choice. (Big bucks!)

If you don't mind moving up a bit in size, there are some more excellent choices to include the HK P2000SK, the Kahr PM-9, the Walther PPS, and the Glock 26.
