What is the difference? Can they be used in the same guns?
9X19 is a bit more modern marking, 9MM Luger has been around for 100 plus years....just different nomenclature for the same thing.So if I buy a gun that says 9 mm luger on it, I can safely use 9x19?
So why doesn't it say9x19?
Or 9x17, which is .380 ACP. But yes, 9x19 and 9mm Luger are two different names for the same thing.Not to be confused with 9mm Makarov, or 9x18

9x19mm, 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum--same cartridge.
It's ironic that me that we can use the above three names interchangeably and people tend to know what's being talked about without any drama. But if you talk about a
