I HAD to have it?? I traded for a Gold Cup 45acp in Stainless Today! Its a Older Model Flat Top USED but VERY NICE! With the earlier Black WOODEN Grips! NOT the rubber wrap around! Can't wait to Blast A Few Through it!


I own several Colt 1911's but this is my first Golt Cup National Match I plan to keep!

National Match Stainless 80 Series

WOW! I tore it down and gave it a GOOOOD Cleaning tonite. I adjusted the Trigger to factory Spec's. I LOVE it already. It feels like a Million $$ in my hand and Can't wait till the middle of next week to put some rounds through it! Full CRISP Trigger and GREAT Sight Radius!

I wish I could post some pictures of it, BUT NO camera.

Maybe someone will help us out with some Pictures?

AND? What is the difference in the National Match Series and the Trophy Series? I have a Friend that shoots a Trophy, and thats all he TALKS about, How GREAT it is?

Isn't the Trophy just a Newer and A Little Cheaper made Version? I was told several years ago, they stopped making the National Match and started the Trophy Series? Is that Correct? If so what years where the National Matches Made and when was the Change over?
