So I finally got a 32 H&R Single Six. I'd been looking locally for over a year with no luck, so gave up and went to GB.
I won a very nice 5.5 inch version.
When it showed up, it was actually a 4.62 inch barrel, which is what I really wanted to begin with, so it was great with me!
Almost no turn line on the cylinder and almost perfect finish. I was happy. Looks like a 1984 model by the SN.
A while back I bought a box full of new brass, bullets, and a die set for 32 H&R so I had that on hand but no time for the loading bench. I ended up finding some 32 S&W long wad cutter cartridges locally to give the new gun a whirl.
It was exactly what I hoped for!
Wad cutters are awesome for punching nice round holes in paper .
So my firsts for today?
First time with my new gun. (Love it)
32 caliber goodness. (Love it)
Use of wad cutters. (Won't be my last)
All in all, I'm all smiles.
And the obligatory pic
