A exotic non native python was killed in Missouri.

The only dangerous snakes here are watermocs and rattlers. Mocs coming up from the river are big. They get dispatched on sight with a 12 ga.

I kill rattlers and moccasins on a regular basis with whatever gun I have on hand. In the past year I have killed them with 9mm, 380 and 22 because it's what I had on me at the time. If I were going snake hunting I would probably want a 12g with some #5 shot.
If I ever see a 15 foot snake I will soil my pants and shoot it with what I have on hand.
