A good electronic powder dispenser/scale.

Does the Pact dispenser vibrate to dispense or does it have the tube that turns?
The PACT has two tubes that turn and dispense powder. A larger tube that drops more powder and a smaller tube that acts more like a trickler. As I said and reiterated by another THR member; the process is slower than the competition (RCBS and Hornady). The PACT does work well and yes the specs is plus or minus 1/10th of a grain at times. Hiowever it is easy enough to toss the bad drop into the powder hopper and dispense again. What helps at times is also having a manual powder trickler to drop the last 10th of a grain.

I have been using the Hornad lock and load electronic scale for a few years and other than having to adjust the trickle speed when going from pistol to rifle, it has been great. I get a couple over charges now and again, but I just dump it back in the hopper and hit a button and it goes on. If it failed I’d probably replace it with wha is cheap and has a good record. I don’t think I’d spend that much on a powder measure again. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice and works, but I load on a single stage and it is faster than me, it’s just a money thing currently.

If my PACT scale should poop out, I could either
a. Buy a current model digital.
b. Dust off the old Lyman D7.

You should spend two and a half minutes to watch that 2nd video in post #5.

Very simple, doesn't need to warm up and more repeatable than anything your going to get for a few hundred bucks (that A&D is displaying to the hundredth of a grain)

I have three. The Hornady Lock and Load. Good service after many years. I don't do pistols with it. It doesn't seem to do as well with light charges, just too slow. Doesn't work well in the faster modes. Had the power cord go bad after more than a few years. Hornady sent me a new one for free.

I got a RCBS Chargemaster Supreme in 2021. After two years it still works great. Its faster than the Hornady. When I am doing more than a few rifles at a time, I use them both at the same time. Speeds things up. Also clearly demonstrates the differences in speed. The RCBS works good with the Phone app. Its more complicated than it needs to be. When my app wouldn't connect due to a bluetooth problem, it was a pain in the asp to get it working again.

My dad died last year and I got all his reloading gear. He had a Lyman. Its more compact than the others and works good. I have only run it with him when helping out. It seemed to work well. Looks very close to some others in the market. Maybe just an outsourced model.

For rifles these work great. Even if after dispensing you use a analog scale to measure each one out its faster than other methods. For pistols not so much.

I have been able to use my RCBS Chargemaster Supreme for Titegroup with only a 5.5gr charge for my cast .357 loads with success. But requires a lot more brushing and cleaning to get it all out.

I have a RCBS Chargemaster and like it quite well. Much faster than hand weighing.
