Ah, I have an XD9, sp101 357 mag, 92FS 9mm, ruger blackhawk 357 mag, and as of last week a G19 9mm. The gun is ugly as sin, but shoots good. I like the XD better.

A good selection of handguns and no glocks here ! Although most of them are cheaper guns than glocks too. I've fired plenty of them, and they aren't for me. That doesn't mean I would say they are not fine guns. I don't like the grip angle at all, and I ride high on guns with my very large hands.. thereby getting 'cut' all too often from glocks.

BUT.. I did shoot a G21 a few months back belonging to an LEO who was humble enough to ask me for help/pointers at the range. I have to admit.. much as I never liked the smaller caliber glocks, that G21 shot pretty darn well for me.. I did think about getting one. The odd thing is that while I was shooting his glock .45 , he was shooting my Taurus PT99 9mm and he really liked THAT !

Lots of handguns and no Glocks here. They just don't fit my hand. I think they are well made guns, but just not for me.

Lot's of handguns here, but no G's. I did buy a plastic gun the other day but it's not a Glock, (it was the rebate and curiosity...:)). Mostly steel wheelies in my safe...

No Glocks for me. I do have XDs in 9mm and .40 S&W. Also have a .44 S&W Revolver.

When I bought my first gun just over a year ago, I chose the XD over the Globk because of a better grip angle and the grip safety. I've never looked back.

I have 10 handguns and no Glocks!

Although I used to own a Glock 22 I got rid of it a few years ago, I just fell out of love with it.

I will admit however that I also dont own any revolvers except an 1895 Nagant and although someday I'll add another Glock to my collection my priority is a decent revolver.

Why are half the posts in this thread from Glock owners? Ones that apparently can't read the title of the thread :p

I've got a Ruger P90, HK P2000sk, and HK P7-PSP. Never owned a Glock and I doubt I ever will. Ugly as sin and never felt good to me. Plus I don't want to join the "Glock is the only pistol worth buying" crew. The 10mm does interest me, but unfortunately glock makes the only reasonably priced 10mm that I've seen. Wish HK made one...

No Glocks here. Got a Ruger P944-.40 caliber, a XD-40 and a Heritage sa 22 lr revolver with a 22 mag cylinder. Thought about a Glock before I bought the XD then I stumbled on The Gun Zone site & all the kaboom stories-think you could probably use one and be fine- but I'd rather have a pistol with a fully supported chamber-especially in .40 caliber

I own several guns, one of which is a Glock. It's ugly, but it works and I can send 18 rounds of 9mm JHPs in a jiffy. Not to mention there are a thousand different mods you can do to them.
Yes, I love it. No, I am not a Glock snob. My next purchase will probably be a 1911. I've owned Kimbers, SWs, Rugers, Glocks, Colts, Sigs...well, you get the idea. I would not say one is better than the other. They are all different, and they all have good and bad qualities.
To each his own, right?

i own / have owned more guns then i will ever admit to - and i have owned several glocks - No glocks here anymore - i like em for the fact that they go bang every time - they are really accurate - at least i shoot them well - but i just dont like em - they feel funny in my hand - they are a great gun for someone who doesn't know much about guns or who doesn't have the budget to get something like a Sig or an HK - but otherwise i really wouldn't consider it if i was going to go look for a new gun - i liked the G27 because it was easy to carry and i shot it really well(better scores then the full size 22 - not sure how that works) other then that none of the glocks iv owned really caught my attention - they are a working mans gun and thats about it - so im sticking to my HKs - thinking of getting a Kahr - any advice on that???

XD40, P95, 5903, P3AT and Model 67

No GLOCKs.....yet

Nothing against them, just never got around to buying one.

But as a CCW instructor, I feel like I need to have one on hand because they are so immensely popular. So, my next purchase will be a LE trade in GLOCK 19.

one thing i noticed is that alot of non gok owners own xd lol

as for me im not a glock fan. tried a few didnt like them. got a xd 45 compact though :) as well as a 9mm baby eagle and 2 22 pistols and a ria 1911.

funny thing i owned 2 rifels at the beg of the year now im up to 5 pistols and 4 long guns lol

I tell this story a lot, but anyways....
I carried a Sig P229 .40S&W for years, shot it well.
I was neither a GLOCK lover or hater, they did nothing for me one way or the other.

I ran across a G17 Gen1 New In Box the first part of 2007 for a song - bought it and could not believe HOW WELL I shot it.
I thought I could shoot the Sig well, (and probably did) but the GLOCK 17 just ran circles (in my hands) around the Sig.

So to each his own, I have approx 3000 rounds through the GLOCK, nary a FTF FTE like someone said above - it's a toaster - it just works well for me.

YMMV

Forward cant

The only reason I bought a Glock was due to the forward cant of the grip. I shoot .22 Rugers alot, and got so used to the cant that when I bought a $1000 Colt .45 I couldn't hit a barn. Rented a Glock at the range and tore the center out of an NRA 20 yd target. Wanted a 9x19 but all he had was a NIB 9x21. So I got the 32 instead. Now my 1956 99% mint Colt is my safe queen. I will probably trade it in on a M-4, cause weapon systems are made to be fired not sit idly by collecting dust.

I have +30 or so handguns and none of them are Glocks.
I have shot three Glocks in my lifetime, and I couldn't hit anything with anyone of them (just shot a G26 two weeks ago - I was hitting about 8 inches low at 7 yards )
That being said, I'm not a Glock basher - they are obviously fine weapons, but they just don't "fit" me.
Give me a Sig, Hk, Beretta, or CZ, and I can shoot pretty good ;)

As of right now I am the proud owner of a M&P .40 and the proud soon to be owner of a P3AT. Both are poly pistols, the only reason I dont own a glock is that I like the M&P better. I will more than likely own a glock in the next few years and not by choice. Both of the PD's that I actually have a decent shot at getting hired with have the same weapons policy, "Carry any gun you want as long as its glock and 9mm"

All in all I think Glocks are good guns, they go bang when you pull the trigger and the dont go bang when you dont pull the trigger. For me thats about where the NEED part of a gun ends. Everything beyond that is fit and finish. My only gripe with the Glock fans is my same gripe with the guys that get into the Chevy vs. Ford wars. Just because your brand is good does NOT mean that everything else sucks.

I have about 10 handguns and no Glocks. I did shoot a Glock at the range once and didn't think it was worth the price. I have 3 semi-autos (2 CZ 52s and a Makarov 9X18) and, all together, they probably cost less than a decent Glock. I am loving the Makarov, btw. Just got it; what a pistol!

I am not a huge fan of polymer guns. The feeling in my hand when they go bang is odd, like they are flexing. Out of all the polymer guns I have shot I do like the XD.

I guess that's why there is a thing called choice. Lot's of other options if you don't like something. The problem with some gun owners is that they feel the need to berate you if your decision disagrees with theirs.

It's nice to see that their are other folks like me that just don't find Glocks to be the holy grail of pistols. If you own them and like them, that OK by me, but don't look down on me for choosing what appeals to me. I guess I'll never achieve "perfection" but then again I never aspired to be perfect anyway.

The way I see it, if I run out of ammo with my steel Baby Eagle, it would make a great 2 pound club...

I've got plenty of handguns.

Nope, like I thought, no Glocks. They tend to point at the sky for me, and I've never appreciated either the trigger, or the aesthetics.

No Glocks here. But, I'm actually falling out of love with most poly pistols at the moment. Their much-touted bennies just aren't that great IMHO. At this point, I think polymer holds more advantages for the manufacturer than it does for the customer.

But I only slept for about an hour last night, so I could just be hatin'.;)
