Anyone stuck on one gun company?

For revolvers I won't own anything except Smith & Wesson and all my hunting rifles are Remington. For auto-pistols I've tried to stick with Beretta but really like the offerings from FN and we're starting to branch out in that direction a bit. I try to keep a stock of common parts around and that's easier to do with Beretta so I don't know how far I'll go down the FN road though. Both my AR style rifles happen to be Bushmaster but that's more by coincidence than intent. I see little difference in any of them until you get into the really high buck stuff.

I'm Ruger-heavy too: GP100, SP101, Single-Six, SR9, LC9, 10/22, they just make great guns for the $. I also have FN, Beretta, Remington, and Savage. I'm sure I'll branch out more as I get older (make more $ ;) ).

I have my favorites but my taste in firearms runs too wide for one company.

No. Variety is the spice of life. I may come off as a Ruger fanboy at times but I would just rather talk about the ones I like than complain about the ones I don't. The two dozen that work just fine, rather than the problem child or two.

I own revolvers only and for 40 years its' been Smith and Wesson for me. I know there there are other quality brands out there, but I'll stay with what I know and trust.

I just left a 1911 thing I had going, and got into the XD/XDm line. Three of each isn't enough. Thinking about FNP-FNX for the next additions.

One thing I do try to stick with is "proven" designs. I generally am not one of the first buyers for experimental stuff... I let other more adventurous souls spend their money doing the product testing if at all possible.

But I don't really have what you'd call a solid brand loyalty - just a partiality to Ruger because most of them work right and when they don't, Ruger fixes it. I'd be a fan of most any company that treats its customers like that.

I don't have only one brand, but I do have more CZs than anything and CZs are the only company that I actually want to buy. Everything else has just been a moment of coincidence. Right place at the right time kinda thing.

Contrary to my username I'm not just a ruger collector (back when I got out of college I started buying guns and the first that I started collecting were bicentinal rugers so I would go into a gun shop and the dealers who knew me said here comes that rugerman thus my handle) I also have sigs, springfileds, keltecs, s&w's, savage's, remingtons, north american arms a high point, a charter arms and probabily a few others that I can't remember. Its just that I have more rugers than anything else.

When I first became interested in firearms back in the day, I pretty much stuck with two companies; for pistols it was Glock, for revolvers it was S&W.

For a number of years, while some companies could equal these two in quality/reliability, they both provided all of that I could want. Unfortunatly, for a while now it seems S&W's quality has been slipping, so I find myself more and more considering other options for my next revolver purchase (Ruger). Likewise Glock, a company I would have at one time have unreservedly recommended to anyone, has had so much bad press about the quality of both their Gen4 guns and the associated customer service, I just don't feel I can do it anymore and I myself am looking elsewhere for my next pistol purchase (Ruger, SIG or Kahr).

So, while I was stuck on two companies for a number of years, they have both managed to "unstick" me of late. :(

I am a Browning fan, and because of that I am an FNH fan. Out of the box my Brownings have always worked. I ventured out and bought a Walther PPK by S&W, it is fine. I have a S&W revolver. It is fine. I have a Winchester pump shotgun based on the Rem 870, it is fine. But when I am not in the mood to give something a try, I go Browning and FN.

Mossberg, Marlin, and Remington here. One of each, and more to come. I'm not interested in one brand, per se, but I tend to stick to one specific product line per brand. For example, for bolt action rifles, it's Remington 700 for me. For .22LR, the Marlin Model 60 fits the bill, and if somethin happens to the one I have now, I'd buy another to replace it. The Mossberg 500 is the only shotgun I've ever held and found comfortable - can't stand the Remington 870 or any Benelli.

Haven't found a pistol manufacturer I want to stick with. I had a Springfield XD and sold it. I wish Glock grips weren't so damn big, I will say that. Likely will try out a 1911 next, I've always loved the look of 'em. IDK which manufacturer though.

Not on a stuck on any company right now, but I am stuck on revolvers currently. Most I own from any 1 company is 3 s&w guns and one of those is actually a walther, and one I just bought today. I like anything that is comfortable and reliable.

Not at all. I have Glocks, CZ's, Kimber, Rugers, S&Ws, Sigs. And I love 'em all. Especially the old Ruger revolvers. Will have the Ruger 1911 soon. And after firing a Ruger SR9 a few days ago, I may some day end up being a Ruger guy.

Anything really. I'm a bang for the buck type, $2k 1911's don't do it for me, but a $200 CZ-82 is sweet. I will spend for a deal, so I own several S&W's, Rugers, an H&K, Walthers and 3 Winchesters. But also love dem Commie gunz, so an SKS and an PA-63 as well, and soon a P64.

Not at all. I have a pistol from most of the manufacturers considered reputable. I did cut down on the range of calibers though. That was getting tedious.

Not really. I've clustered around a few brands - Sig, CZ, Colt, S&W Bushmaster, but then have as many or more one-off brands (including milsurp).

I guess if I was to say I leaned towards a brand, it would be Sig for pistols and S&W for revolvers - but for the specific product not the brand. I'd not consider a Sig 250, for example, though I have a 220, 225, 226, 229...
