A question about Pants.

Just waiting for the holster to show up. What finally made me decide on that one was it would take a EDC with a red dot. That's something that very high on my shopping list.

I hope I have the right forum here. I've recently started CCW again and after some significant weight loss I have run into the problem that I no longer have a butt to help keep my pants up no matter how tight I do the belt. Even a multitool weighs enough to pull my pants down around my hips. I tend to wear things like Hawaiiain and large t-shirts to cover my carry so suspenders wouldn't work. I have a nice new little Ruger Max-9 that is perfect to CCW but I'm grabbing my belt and pulling up my pants every 5 minutes and that prints and exposes my carry. Any Suggestions?

Look online for "Nexbelt"

Don't spend a lot of money. Crossbreed Seconds sells their blem belts and holsters at VERY reasonable prices.

I own several, and wear them a lot. I have never figured out what the blemish is that caused them to reject them from the regular line. But then again, who cares, it's a belt and you'll blem it up the first week you wear it.

There's a code at the top of the page for an extra $5 off which will bring the price down to around $30 for most belts.

And yes, these are real gun belts.

Alas none of those seconds were small enough. 37 inches seems to be their minimal length for seconds. I'm finding even with regular belts having to fight to line the "pin" up with the hole. I'm thinking things like the Kore and the Wilderness belts are going to work better for me.

I use the EDC belts from Blue Alpha. Had the Cobra and Velcro kind. Affordable and quick shipping.

I noticed I needed to lose the jeans as I pocket carry a lot in the summer time. Went with slanted pocket shorts and Ruff Wear work pants for town and barn.

Got to get me some ugly summertime button up shirts!

They aren't ugly! I get a lot of smiles and "Love your shirts" from people while we're shopping or even in line at the Post Office. It makes people smile and that makes everyone's day better! I even had a Korean war veteran ask me "Where are the hula girls at!" lol. We need all the smiles and laughs and good feelings we can get right now.

Seconds aren't planned, so the inventory changes rapidly and often. It's best to check a couple times a week to see what they screwed up. ;)

Have to get it sent in today to meet their return/exchange window. Nice and easy to deal with and live chat support is always a bonus!

Versacarry has a 25 dollar deal on their 49 dollar belt. I bought my dad and father in law both one.

I bought one. Its going beside the Safariland, beltman and hanks. I wear one when OWB. I still don't prefer one for carry. I like my dress belt for that. Its a necessity for my hunting revolvers though

Quick review on the Wilderness Frequent Flyer. Very easy to use. Comfortable. Do pay close attention to their sizing information. Nice and stiff and easy to tighten and loosen. Held the DeSantis "Pegasus Slim Tuck" nice and steady for the better part of a week with lots of travel. Just got the Kore yesterday and got it cut down and assembled today. I'll get back to everyone in about a week on that.

If you have any issue with your pants not staying up with or without a EDC get a Kore. The ability to adjust 40mm at a time makes it easy to hit just the right spot unlike belts with holes in the wrong spots. You can adjust your size yourself with the built in size markings but DO be careful about stripping out the screws (yes screws). They do include replacements but if you strip them they are difficult to get out. Between this and the Wilderness Frequent Flyer I am set for gunbelts for the foreseeable future. That's my review for what very little it's worth.
