Hello everyone -
I inherited a beautiful S&W m19 from my father. The gun has been shot very little, but there is rust in the serrated back strap and on the bottom of the trigger guard.
I would like to refinish this gun in black, but something more rust resistant than the original bluing.
I have never heard of anyone Rogarding or polymer coating a revolver. Would it hold up? What would you recommend?
I know it would be easier and probably cheaper to hard chrome the gun, but it just wouldn't be "Dad's gun".
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
