Not to point fingers, but this is the exact mindset that keeps supplies from recovering....people buying it because its there, not because they actually NEED it, not because they are out, but simply because they feel if they don't buy it now, they may never be able to. As long as that mindset continues to run wild, there won't be anything resembling "normal" supplies on .22 ammo in any store. The idea that if its there, it MUST be bought, regardless of price, only feeds the panic mentality. When people are buying rimfire ammo for guns they don't even own, simply because it happens to be on the shelf, we stand little chance of any sort of "recovery" any time soon, at least IMHO. That sort of behavior, to me, seems just silly, and only further contributes to the issues we are presently having in regards to ammo.Honestly at this point, I buy any and all .22 ammo available ANYWHERE I can find it, for frankly pretty much any price. Short, longs, LR, I've even got about 300 rds of .22 magnum stocked up now even though I don't own a gun that chambers it.

Some people got money and some dontSome shooters like cheap ammo and cheap beer, the cheaper the better.
Some (like me) prefer premium ammo and premium microbrews, the quality/taste trumps price.
