yup, it's gun related.

When I woke up that September morn I could not believe my eyes.
Godless men with cowardly plans stealing jet planes from the sky.
Brave men fought, hand against sword, and they knew that there chances were few.

But these colors don't run and I've got my gun
I'll be fighting for the Red White & Blue

They hate us all both rich & poor, they hate us cause we are free.
Their evil eyes would all go blind if they gazed at Liberty.
And thousands died in attacks by surprise, we were wounded yes it's true.

But these colors don't run and I've got my gun
I'll be fighting for the Red White & Blue

Some will say "it's the middle east, it's really not our war"
I'm not afraid to say that I want peace, & we've got to help the poor.
But if you don't fight for your own childrens lives, then the blood in your veins isn't blue.

But these colors don't run and I've got my gun
I'll be fighting for the Red White & Blue

Is it appropriate to refer to dudes who were certain that piles of virgins awaited them in heaven as "godless?"
Kinda overlooks that "Allah Ackbar" ("god is great") mantra that we've all heard before.

I on the other hand, am full-on athiest, so the term "godless" would actually apply to me.

yup

it's called poetic license...you can write a song too, Y'know:neener:

plus I know they think they belive in God, Allah etc I also know they might not like it, being called Godless.

In my not so humble opinion, Allah will not be very merciful to them in the afterlife.
