Thank you for all of your kind words. Personally I don't need anything and have a large support group. However many Soldiers aren't so lucky. Even something as simple as sending a VET a free postcard (there are several websites that do this) is a simple way to send your appreciation.

I didn't write this to "get" anything, but just to say I'm leaving in a handful of weeks (quickly approaching) and glad to have had the good fortunes in my life, including lurking on THR.

I'm just doing my part to fight for what I believe is a nobel and just cause, and history will reveal that we are morally and strategically correct to be in the middle east to both protect our global interests and spread freedom.
