I am not sure if this has already been posted but I think this is really cool.

Many readers of this report are members of the forum known as The Highroad. There is a long time well known, well liked, and well respected, poster there known as Blackhawk. I think that Blackhawk may be the only person who was more excited about this pistol than I was. Blackhawk would call the company on almost a weekly basis for two years to check on the status of this little pistol. Blackhawk had a serious stroke at the end of January and as I right this he is still in the hospital. He is hanging in there and his family is most appreciative of the prayers and well wishes that they have received from a huge community of people that only know Blackhawk from his postings. Over the last couple of years, Blackhawk had developed a special relationship with Eric Rohrbaugh, the V.P. of Rohrbaugh Firearms. When Eric heard about what had happened, he wanted the company to do something special for Blackhawk. Last week they built Blackhawk a special pistol, serial number BLACKHAWK1.

By the way, Blackhawk had a stroke? :( When did this happen? How is he doing?

Editted to add: Never mind. I just noticed the "float" thread at the top of the forum

koodos to Eric and his company, that is what I call a CLASS ACT. If that does not choke up BLACKHAWK, what will? I am soooo happy for BLACKHAWK, I know this will mean so much to him. I hope all of THR members who are considering a gun in the catagory of the Rohrbraugh AND can afford it will support the company. Knowing that the CEO is a caring person speaks volumes for the company. Lets keep praying for BLACKHAWK and his family...THR members are the best... :)

Im new to this forum and don't know Blackhawk but I do wish him well and hope for his speedy recovery.
The Rohrbaugh piece brought tears to my old eyes.
Good Luck and God Bless Blackhawk and Mr Rohrbaugh.

I've never had the slightest interest in the Rohrbaugh until now. Excellent gesture.

Pistol + Holster

Absolutely one of the classiest things that's been done. This is simply wonderful. ~A look into the true hearts of gun people. I hope this is published far and wide.

Very cool! Like some of the posters here, I had no interest in getting a Rorbaugh until reading about that gesture. :D

An unbelieveable gesture by Rorbaugh. I had never heard of them and I don't know Blackhawk, but now I want to buy one. Plus I think it might be a great CCW gun for the wife!

What a great bunch here, as I found out the other night at our dinner. Some truly impressive folks. :)
