Hope this is in an appropriate location and is well received.
I wanted to share information about an organization called Hold My Guns. I’ve met representatives from this group and they are super - very compassionate and dedicated to their mission.

From their site:
“Hold My Guns® is a liberty-based nonprofit organization. We partner with FFLs across the United States to provide voluntary firearms storage during times of crisis or personal need. Founded by gun owners, Hold My Guns® is a non-legislative solution to help save lives, protect property, and preserve rights.”

I feel like this is a great service for anyone who finds themselves in a situation where they would require temporary storage of their firearms for any reason, but particularly in situations where families may be experiencing mental health challenges.

Do we give them a list of all of our guns with serial numbers before we need their services? I haven’t dug into the site yet.

No, nothing like that. You would only reach out if you needed storage and then they assist with arranging same, including appropriate contracts, proof of insurance, etc to ensure your property is protected.

I wonder if that would work for people entering Canada, but need their guns held for a few days in the US while they’re traveling?

I suspect it would, they claim to not ask why one would like to have their guns held - that’s your private business.
